What the client said
As a company, Unipart has long been committed to the well-being of all our colleagues and has put in place many programmes and facilities to benefit both their physical and mental wellness.
Facing the dual challenges of an ever-increasing pace of change and the impact of the pandemic, we have particularly engaged our leadership in understanding their role in meeting these 21st-century challenges.
That's why it was so important for us to have an acknowledged expert like Terry Streather work with both with small groups and to address our entire leadership team in an online presentation that was highly informative and engaging and has gained many plaudits from those who attended.
John Neill
Chairman and CEO, Unipart Group
The key to any content is in its delivery. Nothing short of world class Terry at our Operations Leadership training. Many, many of our colleagues have been discussing this today. That’s testament to your articulation of such a difficult topic. The content is so thought provoking and I’m already trying to embrace some new approaches for
my personal ‘wellbeing’ but importantly my team members.

Distribution Director, Unipart Group
Oakwood training were engaged to support Unipart Group Australia. Through difficult times, exacerbated by the pandemic and consequential isolation the leadership team were challenged and under stress.
Oakwood ran an online program that was practical and inspirational, fun and confronting and ultimately invaluable to equipping the team with realisations, signals and responses to stress and related problems. The team has frequently referenced the session and the core lessons presented.
The success of the presentation through video conference is a testimony to the Oakwood team and a sign of the effective utilisation of technology. It means that this world class training program from a real expert can be successfully delivered to an executive team in Australia from the UK.
Terry is open, honest and so knowledgeable on the topic. He shares engaging stories and translates concepts into easily appreciated examples. But even more so, he is what Australians would simply phrase as a "good bloke". Thank you Terry from the entire Unipart Group Australia leadership team.

What the client said
"We were looking for a partner, who had a positive approach to Mental Health & Wellbeing. Someone who could convey the message in an engaging way while still being laser sharp about the seriousness of taking care of your own wellbeing. It was important to select a program, which could embrace our Colgate Culture and at the same time tap straight into various local cultures and allow each individual to feel invited and listen to.
The program has been a great success with incredible high participation on both the virtual instructor-led sessions and the eLearning modules. What we particularly love is the bite-sized, fun and interactive way the eLearning is constructed with a great variety to keep the learner hooked.
The equal and unpretentious dialogue Oakwood masters creates psychological safety and opens up for dialogue, vulnerability - and the opportunity to proactively take responsibility"

Oakwood's approach to Mental Health training was perfectly pitched for a senior team. The training was engaging, accessible, informative, important and mind-broadening. We came away with a much clearer picture of how mental health issues affect people at work.
