Mediterranean Shipping Company

Supporting a world leader in global container shipping with employee wellbeing and mental health training programmes since 2022.

What we did

Mental Health First Aid

We trained mental health first aiders from different departments to provide initial support to those in need.

Top down approach

In 2022 we met with senior leaders to identify their objectives, and how we could help look after the mental health and wellbeing of their global employees.

Mental Health

Programmes for the MD and Senior and managers across the business.

MSC employees attending wellbeing support training

Oakwood is proud to support MSC, a global leader in container shipping, with over 200,000 employees operating across 675 offices in more than 155 countries.

We've trained and supported Mental Health First Aiders from across the business and delivered tailored programmes for directors and senior business leaders.

Our work has included accredited Mental Health First Aid training, bespoke leadership courses, and, from 2025, we will be rolling out Neurodiversity Awareness Training for managers.

Our sessions have been warmly welcomed, including personal support and engagement from Managing Director Dan Everitt, demonstrating the power and impact of a top-down approach.

Leadership involvement not only sets the tone for a culture of care but also drives real, organisation-wide change in how mental health and wellbeing are prioritised.
