We’re delighted to announce that our charity partner for 2026 will be LOROS Hospice.
LOROS provide free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers across Leicestershire and Rutland.

Oakwood Founder and Co-Director Terry Streather said;

“LOROS is an amazing charity that has supported my own family during very difficult times. We will be providing free training to help support the wellbeing, mental health and resilience skills of their staff and volunteers, along with supporting their retail teams in dealing with conflict and aggression. The whole Oakwood team is very excited to be working with LOROS during 2026.”

LOROS Strategic Partnerships Officer Clare Bloomfield said;

“This partnership brings together two organisations committed to improving wellbeing, supporting local communities, and making a meaningful difference to the lives of others.

As part of this collaboration, Oakwood Training has generously committed to providing specialist training to LOROS as a Gift-in-Kind, helping to strengthen and support our teams with their wellbeing, mental health and resilience skills. This contribution will have a direct and positive impact on the care we provide to patients and their families.
