Welcome to the Well-being In Retail Project survey and thank you for taking the time to contribute to this important initiative.

Well-being In Retail Project

The ‘Well-being In Retail Project’ was set up earlier this year by Terry Streather of Oakwood Training. The project aims to look for opportunities to shape the future of workplace well-being for the benefit of the sector and the many thousands of people working within it.

As we see this being a very important and progressive project a steering group has been formed which consists of 10 business leaders from the top UK retailers. Each of them is passionate about workplace well-being and are keen to see the sector flourish. The group is supported by a number of industry bodies (including Retail Knowledge/Retail Risk, Oris, Charity Retail Association and CIPD).

In phase 1 of the project, we want to identify what’s stopping business leaders from really focussing on this critical area today and to understand how to facilitate positive change going forward. The key findings will be outlined in a research report aimed to inform industry leaders about the progression of employee well-being programmes. We hope to uncover actionable, valuable insights to help shape the future of workplace well-being for the benefit of the whole industry.
