Supporting a global network of wellbeing allies

As the world’s leading media investment company, GroupM operates across six continents with a diverse workforce of 35,000 employees.

We partnered with them to deliver a customised Mental Health and Wellbeing Allies Programmeme, designed to train new allies and support existing ones across 47 countries. The initiative ensures a unified approach to mental health while recognising the importance of cultural and linguistic differences.

Tailored training for a diverse workforce

To make the Programmeme truly inclusive, we adapted content to reflect local contexts, ensuring sessions were relevant and impactful. Where needed, training was delivered in participants’ home languages to enhance learning and signpost local resources.

The sessions provided a balance of engaging discussions, practical examples, and expert-led insights, creating a safe space for allies to develop the confidence and skills needed to support colleagues effectively.

Ongoing support and practical resources

Beyond live training, we created a customised online resource hub to support allies in their roles. This centralised platform provides access to essential materials, including internal policies, external support links, and country-specific resources.

By equipping GroupM’s allies with the tools to foster a supportive work environment, this Programmeme strengthens wellbeing across their global community.

What the client said

"We were looking for a partner, who had a positive approach to Mental Health & Wellbeing. Someone who could convey the message in an engaging way while still being laser sharp about the seriousness of taking care of your own wellbeing. It was important to select a Programme, which could embrace our Colgate Culture and at the same time tap straight into various local cultures and allow each individual to feel invited and listen to.

The Programme has been a great success with incredible high participation on both the virtual instructor-led sessions and the eLearning modules. What we particularly love is the bite-sized, fun and interactive way the eLearning is constructed with a great variety to keep the learner hooked.

The equal and unpretentious dialogue Oakwood masters creates psychological safety and opens up for dialogue, vulnerability - and the opportunity to proactively take responsibility"
