Mental Health & Wellbeing Awareness Course

Training for Managers

We believe managers have the greatest day-to-day impact on an employee's wellbeing. Our training is built around the common concerns we know managers have when talking about mental health and supporting employee wellbeing.

Managers have a unique opportunity to shape team culture by fostering psychologically safe workplaces where employees feel supported and can bring their authentic selves to work without fear of repercussions.

In this training, we look at how to recognise the signs of poor mental health, how to talk to employees about their wellbeing, and how to provide appropriate support and sigposting. We talk about the common concerns managers have along with strategies for self-care and stress management for managers themselves, along with how to build personal and team resilience.

Flexible delivery and content

Our flexible Mental Health & Wellbeing Awareness for Managers training can be delivered as a one-off session or as part of a programme, where any aspect, including duration and content, can be tailored to suit your needs.

Programmes can include a blended learning approach live instructor-led workshops and additional online resources – whatever approach best suits your people.
With time being such a precious resource for managers, shorter, more regular inputs allowing opportunities to reflect and dive deeper are, in our experience, far more effective than one-off, longer sessions. There is also clear evidence showing this approach is better for the learning process and is more likely to lead to meaningful change.
